Construction of Masjid in the village of Bugia Taiti, Borgo County in Benin
This project will be implemented, God willing, in cooperation with Mutual Aid For Education And Social Development
Project Description:
The village of Bubia Taiti is located in Borgo County, in the Bimberiki region, and in the Bouanre district, in the northeastern part of Benin. It is approximately 535 km from the capital city of Porto -Novo. This village consists of several rural residential communities, with the distances between the houses being somewhat far. They get together at the five daily prayers and on Friday prayers. The village is home to approximately 700 people. This project is of utmost importance because the village is located in an area somewhat isolated from larger cities and villages with Masjids. Therefore, this Masjid will serve as a congregational place for all the surrounding communities, as well as for the communities located further away in neighboring villages. It will also serve as a center for teaching the Quran to children and educating adults about their religion. It is understood that the beneficiaries themselves will donate the land on which the Masjid will be built.
