Drilling an artesian well in the Seriya district of Tamale, northern Ghana

This project is of utmost importance as it meets the needs of the Sawaba neighborhood in Tamale Province, whose residents suffer greatly from fetching water. They must walk long distances of nearly four kilometers to fetch water, which may be undrinkable, leading to the spread of diseases and epidemics among the neighborhood's residents. Therefore, the Peace Youth Organization wanted to contribute to providing safe drinking water to alleviate their suffering and preserve their health.
