Construction of Masjid in the village of Goré Kaha, Borgo County in Benin
This project will be implemented, God willing, in cooperation with Mutual Aid For Education And Social Development
Project Description:
The village of Goré Kaha is located in Borgo Prefecture, in the Bimbériki region, and in the Bouané district, in the northeastern part of Benin. It is approximately 530 km from the capital, Porto-Novo. This village consists of several rural residential communities that form the village, with the houses spaced slightly apart. The five daily prayers and Friday prayers bring them together. The village has a population of approximately 800 people, and is located between the cities of Bimbériki and Bouané. This project is considered of paramount importance due to the village's distance from larger cities and villages with Masjids. Therefore, this Masjid will serve as a congregational place for all the surrounding communities, including neighboring villages and other residential areas. It will also serve as a center for teaching the Quran to children and educating adults about their religion. It is understood that the beneficiaries themselves will donate the land on which the Masjid will be built.
