Drilling a well with a hand pump in the remote village of Wardi in Togo
This project will be implemented in cooperation with the Water is Life organization
Project Description:
This project is of utmost importance as it meets the needs of the remote village of Wardi in the Tashamba county, whose people - especially its women and children - suffer greatly in order to fetch water, because they travel long distances of approximately seven kilometers on foot to fetch water, which may not be suitable for drinking. This causes the spread of diseases and epidemics among the residents of the remote village of Wardi. Therefore, the Shabab 4 Peace Humanatrian Organization wanted to contribute to providing them with clean drinking water to relieve their suffering and preserve their health. - Project cost: 3,500 US dollars - Number of beneficiaries: 100 families or more
